Special weapon Upgrades


Special Weapons can now be upgraded!

In this update, all existing special weapons have gotten upgrade levels. After selecting your desired weapons from the equipment menu, you can now upgrade them during the game. Simply complete secondary objectives to upgrade them!

New character model

The player character finally has an actual model. The circular one that existed up to now was the basic tower (Sentry) from my other game Hyper Towers.

"Mike" is the scientist/engineer from the future who came back in time to collect some valuable resources and save humanity! More characters will come in the future.

Mike also has simple idle and running animations to make him look lively.

New stationary enemy

There's also a new biome-based enemy who is stationary. The "Spine Thorn" will only attack the player if he gets too close. Defeating the spine thorn will only reward you with some gems for now, but that's not its final purpose ;)

Refined Objective panel

The objective panel now shows current primary & secondary objectives in a more graphical way and is much more easily readable.

Changed primary objective

The primary objective has been changed from "Defeat X number of slimes" to "Collect X number of gems" with the introduction of the new biome enemy. Now gems will be harder to obtain but can be obtained in multiple ways (more options to collect gems will be introduced in the future).

Other changes

  • Removed the trail behind the player since he is now a running human with no jetpacks (lol).
  • Berries harvested from bushes will now heal the player for a small amount. Get all 3 of them at once for a decent heal!
  • Enemies are now highlighted in red when dealing damage to better demonstrate that they have taken damage.
  • Fixed the post-processing effect of rain ending too quickly.
  • The player character will now also hold the weapon that you're currently firing.
